59 years ago today, Roger Bannister became the first man to break 4 minutes for the mile. Experts said it was impossible. Some even suggested that he might die if he did it. Bannister showed that we should never put limits on ourselves (or listen to others that do!). Shortly after he broke 4 minutes, several others did as well showing that most of our "limits" are mental. Once you add the mental side (self-confidence and belief) to the physical side (proper training), "impossible" goals become possible.
